Tongue and Groove Ceilings
Tongue and groove ceilings are made of interlocking wood planks that fit together to create a seamless, textured surface overhead. This classic ceiling treatment adds warmth, character, and a handcrafted feel to any room, whether left natural, stained, or painted. We use real wood for our tongue and groove ceilings. Some contractors will use fiberboard or vinyl planks, we don't, because these materials can warp, swell, or fade over time, especially in the Florida humidity. Real wood holds its shape and will look beautiful for years to come.
We do several styles including classic horizontal planks, vertical plank installations, diagonal patterns, whitewashed finishes, stained natural wood, painted tongue and groove, and installations with exposed beams for added dimension.
Tongue and groove ceilings are often done on porches, lanais, kitchens, living rooms, primary bedrooms, and entryways.
